Andrea Lemieux
Andrea always enjoyed wine but never thought much about it past whether or not she liked it. Until, that is, she moved to Turkey where, somewhat ironically, her passion for both wine and wine knowledge exploded. She has spent the last few years voraciously reading and learning about wine; and drinking it at the same enthusiastic pace. Andrea’s love for travel encompasses wine and she tries to learn and drink as much as possible about a country’s wine culture and production. Her current favorites are Georgia, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece, Lebanon, and of course Turkey. Despite a love for “fringe” wines she would happily settle down in Piedmont and never leave.
Andrea is currently trying to prosthelytize the world about the quality (and existence!) of Turkish wine and writing a book about the wines of Turkey. In her free time she is studying for the WSET Level III.
