My love of wine began nearly a decade ago when I took a wine course during my study abroad in Florence, Italy – an opportunity that allowed me to travel to vineyards across Tuscany learning about wine and the art of deductive tasting. Five years ago, I decided to pursue this passion even further – a move that led me to work in Tuscany, Italy; Australia’s Barossa Valley; Marlborough, New Zealand; La Rioja, Spain; as well as Sonoma, Los Angeles and New York City.
I have experience in marketing and selling wine, conducting wine events and tastings, and helping wineries build brand awareness and increase sales. I hold a WSET Level 3 and Intro Court of Master Sommelier certification, and am currently studying to become one of Vinitaly’s Italian wine experts. I am extremely passionate about low-intervention, Old World wine – especially Italian – and have a small wine venture on the side, Vin Concierge, where I provide on-demand wine advice, monthly wine recommendations, and recipe and food pairing suggestions.
