I have lived in Seattle since 1999 and I stay happily busy spreading the gospel aka selling the wines of Vin2U Wine Group, a direct importer and distributor working with limited production, old world family producers who embrace sustainable, organic and biodynamic winemaking.
In June of 2017, I received the WSET Level 3 Award with Honor and Distinction. A certification that was a longtime idea/dream finally realized after much preparation and R&D (wink wink)
My goal is to utilize my place within the industry to help others build confidence with learning about wine by erasing the stodgy, outdated snobbery that can be associated with wine and inviting fun and true enjoyment back to the table. Be yourself and drink whatever the F you want! And to remain humble and cognizant that the more I know, the more I don’t know! Seriously.
When not buried in tech info, wine books or in traffic trying to make it to an appointment to pour wine, you can find me looking for a good karaoke joint or perhaps in the garden and very often in my kitchen dreaming up the next great dinner, with my husband and two cats Booker and Tallulah supervising and while listening to my native SF Giants playing ball on the radio… I am a Bay Area transplant who stays true to her roots but I also don’t mind cheering on our local underdog, Seattle Mariners! Some of my favorite musical artists include Beastie Boys, The War on Drugs, Earth, Wind and Fire, Tycho, Erykah Badu, Tame Impala, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Four Tet, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Grateful Dead… ok, I’ll stop… I could go on tho… but I won’t.
