Rachel DelRocco Terrazas

Rachel DelRocco Terrazas is a New Jersey-based freelance wine, spirits, and travel writer. She serves as Managing Editor at The Vintner Project where she curates and edits content for wine and spirits, and writes the weekly newsletter. Prior to that, she has most recently worked as an Associate Editor for Wine & Spirits Magazine, where she oversaw the tasting department, led the spirits writing, and served as a critic for the wines from Mexico, Spain and South Africa.

In addition to her wine and spirits writing, Rachel also designs business plans for hospitality concepts and writes content for marketing campaigns. She is also an experienced speaker and educator having presented at Tales of the Cocktail, San Antonio Cocktail Conference, and Bar Convent Brooklyn.

She has an extensive background in hospitality and wine buying as a beverage director, floor manager, craft bartender, and sommelier at multiple restaurants in New York, Austin, and Houston, TX. Her drinks have been featured in local and national magazines and her work with the wine list at Qui won her the title of Eater Young Gun in 2015. She was also honored as one of Imbibe’s 75 and took first prize at TexSom’s Best Sommelier Competition in 2016. She is a Certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a certified Cava ambassador, and is pursuing the Level 3 Advanced of Wine & Spirits Education Trust.
