“Chenin Blanc is great. If you open up a cultural book by appellation, when it gets to Clarksburg, that’s the first thing it’ll talk about—Chenin Blanc. It’s the area’s heritage variety and it’s what it was most famous for 30 years ago. Ours you might call it off-dry but the acidity is high, but there’s a little bit of residual. If you were tasting it by itself, eating it with a meal, you probably might not even notice.”
– Eric Aafedt, Vice President, Winemaking

WINEMAKER NOTES
Opening with spicy, floral aromatics, the Chenin Blanc is fragrant with persimmons and passion fruit. Cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks keeps the wine fresh and juicy, with a finish that shines of white peaches and nectarines.
