At one time, sparkling wines from New York State were some of the best-selling sparkling wines made in the United States. The cool climate of the region makes it ideal for this style of wine.
For this Bubbly Dry, we harvest the fruit for this wine earlier to ensure a crisp, refreshing sparkling character. We then start with a very dry Riesling, cool it down near freezing, then add carbon dioxide. The result is an effervescent wine that refreshes and delights the palate with classic Riesling flavor. Wine with bubbles is turning into an everyday experience. You don t have to wait for a wedding or a special occasion anymore.
ABOUT BRUCE MURRARY
Bruce grew up in Central New York, not far from the Finger Lakes. Prior to returning to the region, he worked for more than 30 years in the publishing business. His work led him to travel extensively. In his early 50’s, he concluded his roots were deepest in area where he had grown up. He and co-owner, Diana Lyttle, were married in 2017

Boundary Breaks focuses on cool-climate grape varieties– principally Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Cabernet Franc. We began planting vines in 2009 and released our first vintage in 2013. Our wines are sold throughout the US and abroad.
