Chateau de Lascaux Garrigue 2021 Review
The term “garrique” refers to the wild scrub or vegetation found throughout certain wine regions including Southern France. In winespeak, it refers to a general bouquet of aromas and flavors that are distinctly herbaceous, floral, and peppery, and reminiscent of this terroir. In this Syrah-Grenache blend, farmed organically and biodynamically, we find a wine aged entirely in concrete tanks, giving these unique notes the full spotlight. The result is an elegant, juicy, absolutely memorable wine.
