Domaine Savary was founded in 1984, merging two of Chablis’ oldest winemaking families, and is now run by Olivier and Francine Savary alongside their sons, Mathieu and Maxime. Blending traditional expertise with modern techniques, they produce terroir-focused wines, certified Terra Vitis since 2019, and export globally.
I actually did a double take to make sure this wine was indeed a Petit Chablis and not one of its more “serious” counterparts. It’s delicate, but not at all shy, much rounder, softer, and creamier than a razor sharp example of the appellation. Utterly drinkable yet still boasting substantial body, this is a wine that will be right at home on the dinner table.
