Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Appellation: Alto Adige DOC
Kurtatsch Sauvignon 2020 Review
If you aren’t drinking Sauvignon Blanc from Alto Adige, you need to stop everything you are doing right now and get on board. These wines are expressive, mineral-driven, and absolutely packed with flavor, bringing the best aspects of the variety together in a version that hovers somewhere between the wines of New Zealand and the Loire Valley. This bottling is no exception, with notes of grapefruit, mountain herbs, and crisp pear, and a backbone of acidity that makes you want to bust out those skis and hit the Dolomites.
